Getting Started with Learn Me AI: Complete Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to Learn Me AI! This guide will help you go from zero to chatting with your documents in just a few minutes.

Quick Overview

Learn Me AI helps you:

  • Upload documents (PDFs, text files)
  • Create AI chatbots that answer questions from your content
  • Organize everything with projects and knowledge bases
  • Share with team members

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to learn-me.ai
  2. Click “Get Started Free”
  3. Enter your email and create a password
  4. Verify your email
  5. Log in to your dashboard

Step 2: Create Your First Project

Projects organize all your content.

  1. Click “Projects” in the sidebar
  2. Click “New Project”
  3. Enter a name (e.g., “My Documents”)
  4. Click Create

Step 3: Create a Knowledge Base

Knowledge bases store your documents.

  1. Click “Knowledge Bases” in the sidebar
  2. Click “New Base”
  3. Select your project
  4. Enter a name (e.g., “Work Documents”)
  5. Click “Create Knowledge Base”

Step 4: Add Your First Document

Now add content to your knowledge base:

Option A: Upload a File

  1. While creating/editing the knowledge base
  2. Click “Add Content” → “File Upload”
  3. Select a PDF or TXT file
  4. Enter a name
  5. Save

Option B: Add Text

  1. Click “Add Content” → “Text Item”
  2. Enter a title and content
  3. Click Add

Option C: Add a URL

  1. Click “Add Content” → “URL”
  2. Paste the web page URL
  3. Click Add

Step 5: Create a Bot

Bots let you chat with your content.

  1. Click “Bots” in the sidebar
  2. Click “Create Bot”
  3. Select your project
  4. Enter a bot name
  5. Select your knowledge base
  6. Click Create

Step 6: Start Chatting!

  1. Click “Chats” in the sidebar
  2. Select your bot
  3. Type a question about your documents
  4. Get instant answers!

Example First Session

You created:

  • Project: “Work”
  • Knowledge Base: “Company Policies”
  • Uploaded: “employee-handbook.pdf”
  • Bot: “HR Assistant”

Now you can ask:

  • “What is the vacation policy?”
  • “How do I request time off?”
  • “What are the office hours?”

The bot answers based on your uploaded handbook!

  • Dashboard – Overview of your account

Use Descriptive Names

Add Related Content Together

Put documents that relate to each other in the same knowledge base. The bot will search across all of them.

Test Your Bot

After creating a bot, try different questions:

  • Questions you expect users to ask
  • Questions not covered by your documents (should say it doesn’t know)
